VizBand - Visualizing MAPS Banding Data
We have recently developed installation- and species-specific visualizations of annual demographics and variation in sex- and age-specific morphometrics. For each species and installation 6 multi-pane plots allow inferences to be made regarding the likely causes of population change in terms of breeding/body condition indices, adult population change, and productivity. We are currently developing a VizBand interface that will allow access to 25-30 visualizations for each species and installation.
The project was coordinated by The Institute for Bird Populations and directed by Phil Nott.
