Crane, Spatial Statistics Database
In-house development of GIS scripts allowing the user to define a list of map stations, the spatial extent of analysis, and a list of land cover class codes (or habitats) of interest. For instance, we provide the results of spatial analyses (FRAGSTATS) of National Land Cover Datasets (NLCD1992, NLCD2001, and derived difference datasets) for multiple radii surrounding each of 48 DoD MAPS stations. Thus the operator can extract spatial statistics given certain criteria (e.g. 4km radius statistics for deciduous forest habitat, shrub habitat, and agricultural land) and calculate the means (mean state of the landscape over ten year period) or differences (absolute cover change over ten year period).
1. Copy the following Station Numbers for NSA Crane:
