Help us to Monitor Bird Populations
IBP uses a wide variety of bird survey techniques,
including constant-effort mist netting, point counts, and nest monitoring
to study avian demographics. We also collect climate, weather and habitat
data to determine the environmental and landscape-level causes of changes
in bird populations. Each year we offer intern and biologist positions
on a number of interesting projects. For the spring/summer of 2010,
we have the following openings:
